I know I haven't written for a few months (yes, K and I make it to Texas), but I wanted to post a video of Brett Hudson, a person who brought more joy to my life in three days than I thought possible.
Brett passed away after a long illness, one that took his hair, his voice, and eventually his body, but not his love, his mind, or his smile. I met Brett Hudson on a cool Charlotte night, and a week hasn't passed since that I haven't thought of his laugh.
I will miss Brett Hudson, for entirely selfish reasons. He made me smile. RIP Brett.
